It’s almost summer, I think! (But I make no promises!!)
Ace | After School closes out our 2nd year of programming at Powderhorn Park today! What a year it’s been!!! And while our Hoops, After School, and Deeper programs are a bit more heavily focused during the school year months, summer is no slouch for us at Ace in the City.
Here’s a glimpse into our summer:

  • I can’t believe we’re saying this, but we’re leading our 5th Annual Summer Trip to Juarez and our friends at the Emmanuel Children’s Home. With a team of 18 (and counting), we’re excited for what’s in store!
  • 2nd Annual Back2School Bash on Friday, August 2nd.
  • Launching our inaugural “More than Conquerors” Summer League for our Hoops boys, in partnership with Rockpoint Church of Stillwater!
  • Spoiler Alert: Brainstorming and creating blueprints for our Reading/Literacy Program, launching, Lord-willing, in the Fall!
  • We’re BUYING A VAN!!!!
  • Summer grillouts, BBQs, hangouts and more with our kids & families!

Thank you to all of you who have supported us, whether with your prayers, finances, or time and energy. We are a  volunteer-driven organization, and continue to be so blessed and humbled at the impact of those who give so graciously to us and our kids. THANK YOU!
