Spring After-School Programming
We’re baaaaaaaack!?!?!
As you know, we have been coordinating the before-school programming for 75 or so students every morning at Risen Christ Catholic School, one of the local schools in our neighborhood. We believe we have put together, through strategic partnerships and an exceptional team of leaders, the best program around.
We are coordinating sports clinics and bringing in professional artists, poets and musicians. We are learning about coding and robotics and how to handle stress and conflict in our lives. We’re playing games and building teamwork and enhancing literacy skills. This and so much more!
And….
AND….
We are BEYOND EXCITED to be jumping back into the after-school space this spring! For a few reasons, it became apparent last spring to put a pause on some of our after-school programming as we assess student and family needs and work with the park to identify the best time to run programming amidst their busy schedule.
Beginning in March (and going through middle of June), we are relaunching Ace After School for our neighborhood students! Programming will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00 pm, and we need your help! We’re looking for fun, energetic and encouraging volunteers to jump in with us and make this program as successful for our students as possible.
